Dalip Singh Rana, better known by his ring name The Great Khali, is a retired Indian professional wrestler and actor. He was born on August 27, 1972 in Dhiraina, Himachal Pradesh, India.
Rana began his professional wrestling career in 2000, competing in various independent promotions in India and the United States. He was eventually signed to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) in 2006, where he competed under the ring name The Great Khali. He quickly became a fan favorite due to his impressive size and strength, and he went on to hold the World Heavyweight Championship in 2007.
In addition to his wrestling career, Rana has also appeared in several movies and television shows, including "The Longest Yard," "Get Smart," and "The Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl." He has also worked as a police officer in Punjab, India.
