Biography of Sachin Tendulkar

Sachin Tendulkar is a former Indian cricketer widely regarded as one of the greatest batsmen in the history of cricket. He was born on April 24, 1973 in Bombay (now Mumbai), India.

 began his cricket career at a young age and made his debut for the Indian national team in 1989 at the age of 16. He played international cricket for more than two decades, representing India in over 200 Test matches and more than 400 One Day Internationals.


Throughout his career, Tendulkar amassed a staggering number of records and achievements. He is the leading run-scorer in both Test and One Day International cricket, and is the only player to score 100 international centuries (100 runs in a single innings). Tendulkar was also the first player to score 10,000 runs in One Day Internationals and is the only player to score a double century in One Day Internationals.
