Rishabh Pant Biography

Rishabh Rajendra Pant is a professional cricketer who plays for the Indian national team and Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League (IPL). A left-handed batsman and wicketkeeper, Pant made his debut for the Indian team in 2017 and has since become an important member of the side across all three formats of the game.

Pant was born on October 4, 1997 in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India. He grew up playing cricket in the streets and later began his formal cricketing journey with the Sonnet Club in Delhi. He made his way through the age-group levels and eventually made his first-class debut for Delhi in the 2015-16 season. He quickly made a name for himself with his aggressive batting style and excellent wicketkeeping skills.

In 2017, Pant made his international debut for India in a Twenty20 match against England. He made his Test debut the following year, and has since established himself as a key player in the Indian team across all formats.
